Just past the Halfway Bridge, heading from Petworth to Midhurst, you will see the turning to the very pretty village of Lodsworth. Follow this road up the hill into the village you and will come across The Hollist Arms pub, the start and end point for this easy but hilly walk around the local countryside.
There are plenty of places to leave your car, so once parked head off along the lane to the left of the front of the pub. The lane leads you out of the village to join the footpath across the fields that take you on a picturesque wander through woodland, farmland, and along country lanes before bringing you back into the village where you can enjoy a well-earned refresher at The Hollist Arms. Some of the paths are not that well signposted around this walk so make sure you have loaded the route into the Footpath Planner app and keep an eye on your progress.
The walk is close to 3.6 miles, takes about 7,700 steps and burns around 375 calories.
